Forklift Restoration: Transmission, Bell Housing & Transaxle Rebuild (Clean, Paint, Reassemble)

Welcome back to the forklift restoration! In this video, we tackle the heavy-duty job of completely disassembling, cleaning, painting, and reassembling the transmission, bell housing, and transaxle/differential unit. Watch as we: Carefully take apart the transaxle and transmission. Clean and inspect all internal gears and bearings. Detail, paint, and powder coat the bell housing and differential case. Replace seals (including the old Chicago Rawhide/rawhide seals) and install new SKF seals. Install a new throw-out bearing and run the new external grease line. It was a challenging but rewarding process to bring this unit back to life!
