PRE-VACATION MEAL PREP (VEGAN, EASY, HEALTHY) ♥ Cheap Lazy Vegan

This is the meal prep I did a week before I went on my holiday to Tenerife (back in April). Of course, you won't lose any real fat or weight a week before your vacation, but you can somewhat "debloat" yourself... haha VEGAN MEAL PREP PLAYLIST -    • Vegan Meal Prep Videos   STEPS I TOOK: 1. cook the beans - soak them overnight for at least 8 hours and then empty the water, rinse out the beans, then fill up a pot with plenty of water (at least double or triple the amount of beans) and bring to a boil. When the beans are boiling, you can turn the heat down low to a simmer, cover up the pot and then let it cook for about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how soft you want the beans to be. I usually like to have a little taste of one after about 40-45 minutes to see how soft they are. 2. WHILST THE BEANS ARE COOKING, YOU CAN PROBABLY DO ALL THE OTHER PREPPING! 3. chop your vegetables and get started on everything else. I chopped the vegetables for my chili first and set those aside until the beans were done cooking. 4. chop the vegetables for my snack - this shouldn’t take long as they re in big pieces! I just dipped these with store bought hummus - yum :) 5. More snacks - natural peanut butter with crackers and some bananas… 6. Breakfast - I had a protein shake for breakfast. I just made one shake each night before going to bed. 7. Spiralize zucchini - obviously you can use regular spaghetti or other type of pasta, but since this was a week before my holiday and i wanted to be a little less bloated, i made zucchini noodles instead. I just use a spiralizer and just take a zucchini, and make noodles with it! Use as many zucchinis as you wish. 8. Once the beans have finished cooking, you can just add them into the pot to make chili - the chili is going to be used as my “pasta sauce” for my spiralized noodles or to just eat on its own. you can eat the chili with rice, couscous, pasta, bread… anything! 9. the chili turned out to be a massive one, because i added a load of lentils including brown lentils and red split lentils, which will thicken up the liquid in the chili, and also some chana dal that i had in the fridge. I put quite a bit of the chili in the freezer to save for later How I made protein-packed chili: Your choice of vegetables Your choice of pulses (I’m using chana dal, black beans, red split lentils, brown lentils) I added a handful of walnuts 2-3 cans of diced tomatoes Add enough water to cover everything Add spices like cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, etc…. whatever you want I also added a cube of veggie stock Follow me on YOUNOW to hang out with me and watch my live broadcasts - https://www.younow.com/CheapLazyVegan ▼ FIND ME ▼ W E B S I T E / B L O G ♡ http://www.thecheaplazyvegan.com V L O G C H A N N E L ♡    / therosatron88   I N S T A G R A M ♡   / cheaplazyvegan   Y O U N O W ♡ https://www.younow.com/CheapLazyVegan F A C E B O O K ♡   / cheaplazyvegan   T U M B L R ♡   / cheaplazyvegan   T W I T T E R ♡   / cheaplazyvegan   S N A P C H A T ♡ ItsRosatron P E R S O N A L I N S T A G R A M ♡   / therosatron   ❤ New videos every Wednesday & Saturday (sometimes more!) ❤ ❤ Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE http://bit.ly/1Oc8oVW ❤ Business Inquiries, sponsorships and endorsements - [email protected] ▼ LINKS + DISCOUNTS ▼ ● iHERB.com $5 off your first order http://www.iherb.com/iherb-brands?rco... ● VEGAN CUTS is an all vegan snack and beauty box subscription service and I am an ambassador!
