Please take note of this. ** ** When watching the Daily Mass, please make sure to turn off "Subtitles (CC in the upper right corner)." ** John 20:1-2, 11-18 1 Early in the morning on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone that had closed the tomb had been removed. 2 So she ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and said, “Someone has taken the Lord out of the tomb, and I do not know where they have put him.” 11 Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she bent down toward the tomb 12 and looked inside, and saw two angels dressed in white sitting there. One angel was at the head of where Jesus’ body had been laid, and another at the foot. 13 They asked Mary, “Woman, why are you weeping?” Mary answered them, “Someone has taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him.” 14 When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there. But she did not recognize him. 15 Jesus asked Mary, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” Mary thought he was the gardener, and said, “Teacher, if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus called out, “Mary!” She turned around and called out in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” This means, “Teacher!” 17 Jesus said to Mary, “Do not cling to me any longer, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples and said, “I have seen the Lord,” and told them this word that Jesus had spoken to her. This is the word of the Lord.
