Autumn Cozy Window ASMR Ambience | Tea by the Window on a Rainy Fall Day (Plus Cooking Sounds)

You feel cozy and content as you sit by the window on a rainy autumn day, enjoying a cup of hot tea as your favorite soup cooks on the stove. The weather is getting cooler, and so you've pulled out your warmest sweaters and blankets. The fireplace crackles nearby, a bloom of warmth that sinks deep into your bones as you relax with your favorite novel. So I've been feeling really . . . blah about my videos lately because I totally lost my original vision, which was to make all rustic, warm-hued, "still-life" style videos. My imagination got the best of me, and I started creating content that was cute enough (and fun, sure), but not my style at all. Being in the videos all the time also made it so I couldn't use the rain machine we spent a lot of time making (because the sounds it makes when the water drips down into the tub below is just too loud for an ASMR video, and impossible to edit out). So I had to start digitally comping the rain behind the window, which wasn't the look I wanted. I really want everything to feel as real as possible (the opposite of my main channel!), so I'll be working on testing new shots, angles, color-grading, lighting, styles, etc. I was not lighting my scenes properly at all, either, which meant I tried to overcompensate with color grading, and it just made the final result so muddy. This video was actually just a test shot I tried and ended up liking enough to turn into a video. The ones that follow will look ever better as I'll prepare and get the right props, etc. Most of the ASMR sounds I recorded for this ambience are tea sounds: Me sorting through dried tea blends, pouring water into a teacup, opening a teabag and dipping it in hot water.
