please watch my heartbreaking babies in HD "...we built this town on shaky ground..." long-winded speech warning: The Defenders was amazing!! I'm super easy to please (I'm on of the few people who actually liked Iron Fist) but it was actually really amazing!! I love how connected all the stories from IF, DD, JJ and LC blended/continued in The Defenders. I adored the relationship between Luke and Danny. I think they are just such a good contrast for each other and compliment each other so well! I do feel like out of the 4 though, Jessica was underused in TD. I am super surprised at how many 'big' deaths occurred, it will make it interesting to see who the villains are in their individual shows now, especially Iron Fist (maybe Joy I guess?). Now for the biggest part of the Defenders for me, Darelektra! You cannot convince me that the writers wont bring Elektra back, she is the love of Matt's life! I'm sorry to Karen fans but the dialogue and parallels they gave Matt&Elektra was just way too epic for them not to be the main love he will ever have! If Matt survived the bomb, I'm sure the Black Sky would have! No doubt she will come back, maybe as a villain or follow the comics and occasionally help Daredevil? But seriously about the dialogue; "or worse you're holding the people you love most in the world and have the privilege of watching them die..." "or is your heart with the one who walked through it by your side?"
