American Horrorplex BLACKOUT | We Could Barely See... and That's the Point!

⚠️ Warning: Flashing lights, fog, loud noises, and intense scare effects throughout this walkthrough. What you see in this video is actually *more than we were able to see* during the event. American Horrorplex's Blackout event strips away your biggest advantage—your vision. Armed with only glow sticks and whatever ambient light the haunt provides, every corner becomes a mystery and every sound keeps you guessing. We chose not to use a filming light because we wanted to experience the event the same way every guest does. The light you occasionally see comes from the haunt itself, the glow sticks, and the forward-facing screen on one of our action cameras. While we experimented with brightening the footage in post, we ultimately decided to leave much of the darkness, focus hunting, and uncertainty intact. It's a more honest representation of what the experience felt like. If we continue covering blackout events, we may experiment with a dedicated filming light—but only if it can be done without taking away from the guest experience.
