The good news is that after 25 years of research, acoustic energy can now become a new, profitable renewable and recyclable energy source, improving the energy efficiency of our heating, cooling, and electricity production systems. However, this requires a systemic approach to energy systems, from the beginning to the end of the value chain and the product lifecycle. Driven by the desire to reduce our ecological footprint, Cédric François is working on developing biomimetic solutions for a more energy-efficient future. He embarked on a second career by searching for the most powerful sound on Earth—a new source of reflective and regenerative energy. Sound not only soothes the soul, but it is also a precious resource that has fascinated this multifaceted entrepreneur, designer, traveler, and artist. His challenge?
