Wildlife and bird photography at JN Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Florida

#birdphotography #wildlifephotograpy Wildlife and bird photography at J.N 'Ding' Darling NWR. This refuge is situated on the island of Sanibel, close to Ft Myers on the westcoast of Florida. There are some trails in the area, both on land and by kayak. The main "trail" however is a paved one way road through the wetland. The sides are covered in mangrove trees but here and there the road is close to the water with a clear view of the wading birds. It is mostly wetlands so expect to see a lot of birds, but alligators, otters and raccoons are also common.
