REISSUE: "Ritespot" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Blueprint Blueprint is a high energy project from musician/producer Barry Blum and disco pioneer, John Hedges and released their single, ”Ritespot” in 1983. The track was fused with the magic which Blum provided with prior artists Lisa, The Buffets, Jolo and Boys Town Gang. The subject hears lets in on a new gamble on a romance which seems to need that ‘ritespot’ to make it. The drum tracks on this dance track were also interesting to hear drop out of the rolling bass as if it were from another medium yet make the some much more interesting. It was as if someone was rolling dice and the outcome as our love interest here is unknown. The team of Blum and Hedges can also be heard on the huge high energy hit, “Seclusion” by Shawn Benson. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Ritespot” and rewired this chance for another one in this ReStructure Mix. The sequencers and bass lines are reused in touch and go situations here where the song move faster and more of a ‘dance chance’ for you.
