In our so-talk on Tour interview, we met Laurence Frey from the organizing committee of the Solothurn City Festival, which takes place from June 26th to 28th, 2026. During our tour of the old town, we learned about the highlights that await visitors. Look forward to performances by regional artists, a VIP grandstand on Kronenplatz, numerous market stalls, the longest brunch in Switzerland at 111 meters, a diverse children's program on Kreuzackerplatz, and much more. Sustainability also plays an important role. For example, attractive merchandise such as bags and backpacks were made from last year's festival banners. Those who would like to further support the city festival can purchase a solidarity wristband. A new red premium wristband is available, which grants free travel on public transport within the Libero network for the entire duration of the festival.
