The Girolando is a breed of cattle created in Brazil by crossing Holstein females with Gyr males. They are ideal for milk production and warm climates. Mr. Arigo Joaquin Iturbe Tovilla, a Girolando breeder from Rancho Santa Fé in Cintalapa, explains the Girolando breed, and we see cows and bulls from Girolando breeders such as: Rancho El Herradero, Desarrollo Agropecuario Don Quintin SPR de RL of Arriaga; Rancho Chabelita & Chichen y Bretaña of Mapastepec; Rancho La Divina Providencia of Villacorzo; and Rancho Santa Fé, Cintalapa. All are located in the state of Chiapas, Mexico.
