Coniston 14 Race 2022

The 40th Coniston 14 road race took place on the 26th March 2022. A 14 mile race around Coniston Water on an undulating route. It was a very warm and sunny day with more than 800 runners taking part. I was filming close to Brantwood about 11.5 miles into the race. Lots of smiles but also signs that many found the race hard going in the unseasonable temperatures. Sorry to last few runners I missed. A couple of wobbly moments as I either waved cars to slow down or applied sun block!
