Can a +6 Handicap Handle Real Tournament Pressure?

Entering this competition off a +6 handicap probably wasn't my smartest decision. With 30mph gusts battering the course all day, scoring was always going to be a challenge. But to make things even tougher, there was an extra twist: every bogey I made meant taking a padel ball straight to the backside. This event took place at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club and serves as part of my preparation for some huge competitions coming up on the channel. With Open Regional Qualifying just around the corner, the focus is now shifting towards sharpening every part of my game under real tournament pressure. Over the coming months, you'll be seeing plenty more competitive golf content, including regional qualifying, amateur tournaments, scratch events, and head-to-head competitive matches against some seriously good players. The goal is simple: test my game in the toughest environments possible and see how far we can take it. But before all of that, I had to survive 18 holes in brutal conditions while trying to avoid as many bogeys—and padel ball punishments—as possible. Trust me, it didn't quite go to plan.
