Today I’ll finally upcycle the shower curtain I made two years ago, and finally sew the pants of my dreams. After staring at this beautiful abrstract watercolor print cotton canvas hanging in my bathroom everyday, I took it down to save it for the perfect pants pattern, and after patiently waiting, that pattern arrived! Thanks to ‪@sewbakemake‬ and the #bakerbarrelpants pattern, I finally have the perfect pants. They were so worth the wait! Let’s hang out while I make them! I’ll show you how I cut out my fabric using my projector, add tons of pretty topstitching, and officially learn how to do flat felled seams for the first time! I love how these turned out! They’re SO comfortable, suit my lifestyle as an active mom, and the print adds some much needed pizazz to my most simple warm weather outfits.
