Now, thanks to the help of their new friends from Portland Columbia Symphony, they can! Join the Nirks on their musical journey through the orchestra. Meet the Instruments is a 16 part series including our theme song, “Meet the Instruments.” In Episode 4 we will be meeting the Bassoon and Contrabassoon, the biggest and lowest members of the woodwind family! The Bassoon is Vincent's favorite instrument, and he's been practicing hard to get ready for his episode. His friend and teacher, Nicole Buetti is a professional bassoonist and contrabassoonist, and she can't wait to teach you all about the bassoon, how it works, and why it might attract pandas!
