Give us eyes to recognize Your hand at work in our lives, even in the most difficult circumstances. When we're tempted to give up, remind us that this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. For those who are at their breaking point right now, we pray for a special measure of Your strength and comfort. Show them that You're not punishing them—You're preparing them. You're not angry with them—You're actively loving them through this refining process. Thank You that You promise never to leave us or forsake us. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient for us, and Your power is made perfect in our weakness.
