After you've got your puppy sitting on command reliably, then it's time to take it to the next level. Your puppy has limited attention and when there are distractions around it's much harder to capture and maintain their attention. If they're responding to sit at home 80% of the time, then try in a slightly more distracting environment. Try in the backyard, then try on walks, then eventually try at the park. Remember, you want your puppy to succeed! So if they're too distracted, wait until things calm down a bit or you're back in a less distracting place. Good luck!
