Harinya Kashyapa defeats the serpent army and establishes his rule over the serpent world. Harinya Kashyap comes to the royal assembly of the king of the serpents. The king of the serpent world, Nagraja, proposes marriage to his daughter Kyadhu before Harinya Kashyapa. Harinya Kashyapa accepts this proposal. Shukracharya declares Harinya Kashyapa to be the king of the demons because of his power and might due to his conquest of the serpent world and makes his eldest son Alhad the prince until Harinya Kashyap returns from the serpent world. Prince Alhad goes to get blessings from his mother. Alhad tells his mother that his father's marriage has been arranged with Nagraj's daughter Kyadhu. After Harinya Kashyap's victory over the snake world, Mata Uma asks Ganga Maiya why all this is happening and Ganga Maiya tells her that Prahlad will be born from the womb of Kyadhu which will cause the death of Harinya Kashyap. Kyadhu says to her mother how can I marry Harinya Kashyapa he hates Vishnu and I am a devotee of Lord Vishnu. Kyadhu's mother explains that your father Nagraj arranged your marriage with her to save the Naga world. Hearing the words of Kyadhu's mother, Kyadhu agrees to marry Harinya Kashyap. Kyadhu is married to Harinya Kashyap. Harinya Kashyap comes to his room after the marriage and is angry to see the idol of Vishnu there. Kyadhu tells Harinya Kashyap that she will do as you say and hands over the idol of Vishnu to him. Harinya Kashyapa throws the Vishnu idol into the river. At Kyadhu's farewell, she laments with her mother. Kyadhu is sent away from the serpent world with her husband. Harinya Kashyap takes Kyadhu with him to his kingdom. Indra looks at Harinya Kashyapa and says that if Harinya Kashyapa becomes king, he will prove to be even more deadly to the gods. Narada Muni tells Indra that we should ask Ganga Maiya for the way. Shukracharya tells Harinya Kashyapa that I have removed Andhakasura from the throne and declared you the king of the demons. Indra goes to Ganga Maiya and tells her that I will attack Harinya Kashyapa asura kingdom and defeat them now because Harinya Kashyapa will not fulfill the promise and will surely attack us. Ganga Maiya explains them that you will not do this as it will hinder the birth of Lord Vishnu’s devotee Pralahad and you should fulfill your treaty word. Indra asks forgiveness from Ganga Maiya and stops attacking the Asura world. Ganga Maiya asks Narada Muni to go to the coronation of Harinya Kashyap. Harinya Kashyap is crowned king. Narada Ji comes there Seeing Narada Ji Harinya Kashyapa asks his soldiers to make him prisoner. The soldiers of Harinya Kashyapa could not take Narada Muni Jo prisoner. Ramanand Sagar presents - 'JAI GANGA MAIYA' based on the most revered and the only living goddess - GANGA. Residing in the Kamandal of LORD BRAHMA, BHAGWATI GANGA, like SARASWATI and LAXMI, is one of the seven SHAKTIS of supreme GODDESS MAHAMAYA ADISHAKTI. The story goes far back when Kapil Muni curses King Sagar's sixty thousand and one sons and reduces them to ashes. On repeated requests by the only son of King Sagar, Kapil Muni finally changes his mind and says that King Sagar's sons would attain MUKTI only if their ashes are cleansed by the holy water of GODDESS GANGA. Generation after generation apologize to pacify BRAHMA but without success - and finally after music praying by BHAGIRATH - the seventh generation of King Sagar, GANGA reluctantly consents to descend to earth. To contain its powerful fall, LORD SHIVA steps in the way and lets the river tumble gently through his long hair onto the Himalayas. GANGA then flows across India to the edge of the ocean, where she washes over the ashes and gives of millions of Indians for whom the river is Holy because river Ganga personifies GODDESS GANGA who descends to earth to cleanse the sins of mankind.
