GBPIET Alaknanda Hostel Tour (Mess/Terrace/Rooms/Common Hall)

In this video we will be giving a tour on Alaknanda Hostel. It is a 120 seater hostel where more than 100 students can reside and it is one of the most amazing hostel for the B.Tech, M.Tech students. It is infront of the Neelkanth hostel and besides the transit hostel. There is no security guard in the hostel, We can move out at any time and the tea point which is just outside the hostel is open till 10:00 PM at night. Students in here are from multiple branches especially from AIML and Civil engineering. Surroundings: The hostel offers 180 degrees view of the Grand Himalayas, laden with snow covered peaks round the year. It is located 1,814 metres (5,951feet) above sea level. This hostel provides panoramic view of the snow covered Himalayan peaks of Nandadevi & Trisul, Gangotri Group, Thalaiya-Sagar, Neelkanth, Bandar Poonch, Swarga-Rohini, Kedarnath, Kharcha Kund, Satopanth, Chaukhamba, Ghoriparvat, Hathiparvat, Sumeru etc. Amenities: The hostel are well equipped with toilets, electrical and clean drinking water facilities, along with internet facility in each hostel. The hostel keepers staff cleans the entire hostel on a daily basis but they do take a day off once a week on sunday and this hostel has a hostel caretaker to cater to the day to day needs of the hostel.
