Oficios al sur del mundo - Extractores de oro

Trades in the Southern Hemisphere, as a non-fiction documentary genre, seeks to record aspects of the socio-cultural reality of the Southern Hemisphere. Documenting and disseminating traditional trades of our region means seeking out ancient crafts that have lost ground in the market due to the demands and offerings of today's society. This, coupled with the disinterest of younger generations in pursuing them, yields meager results: these trades will soon be just a part of what we once were and did. Therefore, it becomes interesting to document, disseminate, and intimately reveal how these people experience the lack of interest in their products. Through these three objectives, the project aims to generate critical awareness within the regional society.
