For years, it was bustling with activity – summer camps, winter camps, and health retreats were organized here. There was a canteen, a café, and a gymnasium, and in the summer, guests could swim in a reservoir fed by spring water. After the state-owned farms were liquidated in the 1990s, the center began to decline. Initially, attempts were made to save its operations by accepting patients and organizing weight-loss retreats, but over time, a lack of investment and ownership changes led to its complete closure. The building was stolen and vandalized. For many who worked or vacationed there, "PRL" remained a place full of memories – a symbol of a bygone era, community, and simple joys. Despite its ruin, some still believe it can be resurrected.
