I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings? by Maya Angelou in Tamil / Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. A free bird flies freely in the air. It takes the sky as its own. It dips in the orange coloured sky. It waits for another breeze or trade wind which blow softly through the trees. It searches for its own food. It enjoys the freedom it has. But a bird in a cage can seldom see the sky through the iron bars of the cage. Its wings are clipped and its feet are tied. So in frustration and in anger it opens its full throat and sings a song loudly with a fearful trill.
