This is my record on the mat at the Asian Championships, my first-ever international -125kg heavyweight competition, where I moved up three weight classes. Having competed in the 86kg class my entire life, I took on the challenge of the heavyweight stage, filled with monstrous athletes, representing South Korea. I poured out my full strength on the mat, enduring the overwhelming power and weight of opponents who weighed me 10 to 15kg or more. As this was my first time on the heavyweight stage, achieved after a grueling weight gain process and training to change classes, it was a truly meaningful and intense moment for me, regardless of the outcome.
