Paradiddle Rhythmic Pattern Tutorial with Mimetic Digitalis and Basimilus Iteritas Alter
This is a short demo of how I applied the paradiddle drum rudiment to Mimetic Digitalis and Basimilus Iteritas Alter by Noise Engineering. MD and BIA were great partners in this exercise. MD has multiple channels to play with and BIA has lots of inputs for modulation. It sounds pretty cool with a quick tempo and with the paradiddle sequence modulating a few parameters on BIA. Note: This is not an MD and BIA tutorial. However, the concept of applying the paradiddle can obviously work with any 8 or 16 step sequencer.
