This new "impulse" draw effect gives the deck the critical mass of card advantage it needs to chain rituals like Rite of Flame and Seething Song into a game-winning storm turn. This video features a donation deck from Wesley—thanks for the support! I’m showcasing my personal recommendation for the archetype, which moves away from Guttersnipe and toward Seize the Storm. By using First Day of Class, we can give our massive Elementals Haste and Trample, while the Learn ability lets us grab utility Lessons like Abandon Attachments or How to Start a Riot mid-combo. We also dive into the "Land Grant" debate, explaining why thinning the deck is crucial for our impulse effects and how it fuels the power and toughness of our Elementals.
