Birthday patterns are something you hear about when you are doing patchwork quilts. Just as there are birthstones and birth flowers, each day has a birthday pattern. By the way, there are differences in the patterns published in different books. It does not seem to be absolute. For example, according to “Birthday Pattern Book 365” which I referred to this time, January 1 is New Star, December 25 is Chiristmas Tree, etc. You can also feel the atmosphere of each season, It is interesting to simply look at them. My friend's birthday is April 30. The birthday pattern for April 30 is called Bear's Paw It is a very popular pattern. It's fun to color scheme, and most of all, the pattern itself is lovely, and I'm insanely jealous! I don't like my own birthday patterns that much. I think I can make some great ones with the right color scheme and placement... but I still like patterns like Lover's Knot (heart shape) that are cute in themselves, patterns like Roman Stripe, which is fun to think of color schemes, and other popular patterns, such as Double Wedding Ring, for example. But when I think about it, Bear's Paw was also a bit difficult to make when I made it at a class. I didn't like this pattern that much. But now I think the balance of the triangles and squares is cool and traditional yet modern, and I think it's a very good pattern. Then, I might like my own birthday pattern someday.
