Carving a Renaissance style grotesque pattern
This ornament is carved in Lime wood and it is based on the classical Renaissance grotesque pattern. I have taken inspiration both frome patterns carved in stone as well as painted ones from the Italian Renaissance. This specific ornament is to be gilded and then placed on a pilaser as a part of a interior decoration. To see more please visit our website www.stockholmsforgyllning.com
