Today, Chechen Head Ramzan Kadyrov visited key sites in the region. First, he visited the city of Argun, where the largest-scale construction of the new bridge is underway. One section of the bridge was recently opened, alleviating congestion in that direction. In addition to these measures, work continues around the clock to implement the entire project. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Highways Isa Tumkhadzhiev briefed the head of the region on the latest progress. Ramzan Kadyrov personally witnessed the builders and specialists approaching their work with the utmost responsibility and dedication. According to the project plan, the bridge under construction will be 154 meters long, and the total width of the roadway, including sidewalks, will be almost 43 meters. This will allow for the creation of eight full-fledged traffic lanes. Next, in the village of Germenchuk in the Shali District, the Head of the Chechen Republic inspected the progress of major repairs to the Grozny-Vedeno-Dagestan border bridge. This bridge is an important transportation artery, connecting the republic's lowlands with its foothill and mountainous regions. The regional leader was pleased with the pace of the work. The necessary equipment, qualified specialists, and all required resources have been deployed. According to Isa Tumkhadzhiev, work on this section is expected to be completed by the end of September. Ramzan Kadyrov also visited the village of Avtury in the Shali District. Another overpass damaged during the spring floods is also undergoing major repairs there. This is also a very important project for the republic. The road artery, which the damaged bridge connected with, connects several districts of the Chechen Republic (Shali, Kurchaloi) and plays a significant role in the region's development. Upon completion of construction, the new bridge will be almost 16 meters wide and 127 meters long. The bridge is scheduled to open by the end of the year. At the end of his intensive inspection tour, the Head of the Chechen Republic inspected the progress of construction of a major traffic interchange at the intersection of Vahi Aliyev and Nazarbayev Streets in Grozny. The project includes five overpasses with a total length of 1.64 kilometers and a pedestrian underpass approximately 62 meters long. Grozny Mayor Khas-Magomed Kadyrov briefed the Mayor on the current situation on site. Concrete work is currently underway, and workers intend to complete it within two months. The project's final completion will ease traffic congestion in the city center, ensuring comfort and increased safety for all road users.
