Durango & Silverton 473: The Sports Model to Cascade Canyon (4K)

On March 15th-17th, We got our opportunity to photograph & film K-28 #473 as it took 482's place since 482 went under for a boiler wash. For the 3 days we got to see 473 solo with 10 cars and doubleheading with Alco DL535e 106 on some trains with the consists going from 14-15 cars. For one of the days we chased, there was a wind advisory in Southwestern Colorado which made it tricky for good audio (still working on acquiring a video mic in the future). This time we got to see 473 wearing a snowplow as last time we saw 473 in 2023 when it was a helper on the Silverton with 476 and didn't wear a snowplow at the time.
