I started from the pedestrian overpass in front of Oji Station. While strolling around the station area, I explored the neighborhood, including Kita Topia and the Peace Memorial Statue. Afterward, I walked along the road where the Toden Arakawa Line (Tokyo Sakura Tram) runs, heading to “Asuka’s Path” behind Asukayama Park. After strolling along the walking path—which is adorned with beautiful hydrangeas in early summer—I explored Asukayama Park and Otonashi Waterfront Park before heading back toward Oji Station. I concluded my walk by strolling around the Sun Square area in front of Oji Station. Oji is a neighborhood that offers easy access to the city center while allowing you to experience nature and history up close. It’s dotted with lush green spaces like Asukayama Park and Otonashi Waterfront Park, and the scenery along the Toden Arakawa Line is unique to this area. Since the neighborhood takes on a different character with each season, it’s a popular spot for those who enjoy leisurely strolls. This time, the hydrangeas along “Asuka’s Path” were in full bloom, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery unique to early summer. *There is a scene in the video where I was asked to take a photo by a visitor from overseas.
