Memorial Day, Taos Pueblo 2015
This video depicts excerpts from Memorial Day ceremonies at Taos Pueblo, NM on May 25, 2015. Taos Pueblo is home to a tribe of Native People who have lived in this area for more than 900 years. Tribal members have participated in U.S. military from World War I to the present. Featured in this video are Tony Reyna, 99, who is one of the last remaining survivors of the Bataan Death March in World War II; and Eloisa Apachito, 96, who served in the Women's Army Corps also during WWII.
