Declutter and Downsize FAST! Five More Tips

In this follow up video, I answer questions and give additional tips on making the decisions of what stays and what goes when you declutter your home. Declutter does not mean getting rid of everything! So figuring out what is meaningful and useful is one starting place that helps you make those decisions. Heirlooms often cause a great deal of stress when deciding what to do with them and I offer several suggestions you can try to either relocate those items with another family member or keep the ones that are really special. Often, when you are helping a family member or a spouse declutter it can be very emotional. I suggest you take a measured, kind approach and not rush. Decluttering is a process and will take time. We all need to get comfortable with letting go before we can actually do it, so don't think of decluttering as a one time event. It will be ongoing for every person and some will accomplish it easier than others.
