At the end of June, I finally rode my road bike on the Asahikawa-Biei-Kamifurano route, a route I'd always wanted to try. Starting in Iwamizawa, I rode through Asahikawa, Biei, and Kamifurano, returning to Iwamizawa for a long ride of over 260km. The breathtaking views of the Biei hills and Mount Tokachi, the delicious braised pork rice I enjoyed at Miyama Pass, and the unexpected encounters along the way—it wasn't just about riding to a destination; it felt more like a true journey.
