SOO Line, An afternoon at Rondout, April 11, 1994
We start following SOO Train 218 as it climbs Lake Hill east of Milwaukee with 3 GP38-2 and a SD40, then see it at 7 Mile Road in Caledonia, Wi. At Rondout, I positioned myself on the old Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee overpass and shoot Metra North Line trains to and from the Fox Lake Sub, Amtrak trains including Hiawathas and both Empire Builders, and watch 218 make a set out for the EJ&E before departing for Bensenville.
