Chapter II : The Prayer of the Forgotten Forest

Long before kingdoms were born... Before the first war was ever fought... There stood an ancient forest untouched by time. The Forgotten Forest. Within its endless canopy, every tree, every river, and every breath of wind existed in perfect harmony. It was a sanctuary where life was never ruled by power, but by balance. Watching over this sacred land was Yggleah, the Mother of Everlasting Life. She asked for no throne. She sought no glory. Her only wish was that every living soul—whether tree, flower, beast, or wanderer—might continue to flourish beneath the ancient branches. Each full moon, Yggleah offered a silent prayer beneath the World Tree. Not for herself... But for the forest. For the rivers that gave life. For the flowers that would bloom again after winter. For every traveler who found peace within its embrace. Her prayer became a promise carried by the wind... A promise that life would always return, no matter how harsh the seasons became. Yet... Far beyond the quiet forest... Something had already begun to disturb the natural order. Though the trees still whispered... And the rivers still flowed... The world itself had begun to change. Yggleah could feel it. But she did not yet know why.
