The tallest people in the world. Who are they? And how do they live? The world learned about the tallest American, 30-year-old Ukrainian-born Igor Vovkovynskyi, after Eurovision. The giant carried Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich onto the stage at the European competition. Standing 2.37 meters tall and weighing 250 kilograms, he had already been the center of attention, and now he has gained worldwide fame. He was born in Ukraine. When he was six, he stood 180 cm tall. He was diagnosed with gigantism. Unable to treat the child in Ukraine, the family moved to America. American doctors did everything they could: they treated the Ukrainian with medication and performed 16 surgeries, thanks to which Vovkovynskyi's height stabilized at 2.34 meters.
