Disembarkation day was supposed to be simple… get off the cruise ship, head to the airport, relax in the lounge, grab something to eat, and wait for our flight home. But this travel day had other plans! We made it to the airport, checked in, headed to the lounge to eat and wait, then finally boarded the plane. We waited for food that never came, taxied out, and just when we thought we were taking off… we were pulled out of line because of gas issues. Back to the terminal we went. Then the pilots had to leave because the delay changed their allowed flying time. After more than a two-hour delay, we ended up deplaning and sitting back in the airport waiting for instructions. But wait… it didn’t stop there. Once we finally got back on the plane and taxied out again, we were pulled to the side again — this time because of a weight issue! At this point, all we could do was laugh, wait, and wonder… how will this all end?
