The monster of the family is back! 🔥 I loaded the custom headlights, put the M5 bar in the X3 and headed straight to the hall. Once there, I hit a serious dilemma: the fans forced me to cut the M bar, something I didn't want to do. After some thought and measurements, I made the decision: we're giving up the fans and installing the M5 bar without any modifications! And yes, even with the big intercooler we managed to make it fit properly. 💪 The only adaptations were to the brake vents, where the tubing came over them and had to be cut a little. After a few small adjustments, the bar is in place and looks exactly as it should. But we don't get away without problems... The engine mount keeps giving way under the load and actually breaks it. At the recommendation of a subscriber, we tried a compromise solution: we tied the engine mount with straps. At the moment, we haven't found a better option, there are no parts, we haven't found stiffer mounts for diesel, so we'll keep going like this until we find the final solution. What's your idea?
