Five Minute Histories: Library Nineteen
Join us inside Library Nineteen, a beautiful former Pratt Library branch building in Fell’s Point. It operated as a library from 1921 until the early 2000s. Then it was a community space for a local nonprofit organization and now has gotten its third life as a hub of creativity. It is owned by architects Paulina Ilieva and Kuo Pao Lian of PI.KL Studio. We are delighted that Kuo Pao joined us today to talk about Library Nineteen’s restoration and its future. Thanks for watching and see you soon with another video. This is our series called "Five Minute Histories." Every week, we’ll record a short video about a different historic place in Baltimore and post it on our Facebook page and YouTube channel. #baltimore #fiveminhist #library #historiclibrary #adaptivereuse #historicpreservation
