Get a stronger seat for horseback riding by learning to "bear down" with the muscles in your torso. This unmounted exercise for equestrians will help you access the core muscles needed to bear down with your seat, get your core engaged and become deeper in the saddle. Learn to activate your core and stabilize your upper body for a better seat and position on your horse in the sitting trot, canter and improve your half-halt.
