Madlanga Commission EXPOSES Shocking WhatsApp Chats: Malema's Deal with General Khan

Madlanga Commission – 7 July Explosive new WhatsApp evidence has emerged allegedly linking EFF leader Julius Malema, Major General Feroz Khan, and an alleged plot to remove the Inspector-General of Intelligence. In a dramatic revelation before the Madlanga Commission, the evidence leader presented chats showing that in June 2021, Julius Malema, via an intermediary, called for the immediate arrest of individuals associated with Operation Dudula, the controversial anti-illegal immigration movement that had threatened to remove foreign nationals. Just a day later, Major General Feroz Khan allegedly circulated draft parliamentary questions designed to trap the Inspector-General of Intelligence, Dr. Setlhomamaru Dintwe, into making false statements before Parliament, with the stated aim of securing his removal. The timing and content of the messages have raised serious questions about the relationship between political figures and senior intelligence officials. The WhatsApp chats, dated 10 and 11 June 2021, reveal a rapid exchange of messages. Malema's forwarded messages included an Operation Dudula poster alongside the instruction, "must be arrested tonight." The following day, Major General Feroz Khan allegedly prepared draft parliamentary questions for the EFF to submit, referencing convicted drug trafficker Timothy "Timmy" Marimuthu and attempting to draw the Inspector-General into what Khan described as a strategy to force him into lying before Parliament. One message allegedly stated, "This should get him to lie and in return we can ask for his removal because he lied." The questions were later submitted on EFF parliamentary letterhead to then Minister of Police Bheki Cele, focusing on the Inspector-General's alleged connections to Marimuthu. The evidence forms part of testimony before the Madlanga Commission, examining allegations surrounding Crime Intelligence and state institutions. The testimony also references former Crime Intelligence head Lieutenant General Peter Jacobs and raises broader questions about political influence, intelligence operations, parliamentary oversight, and the independence of South Africa's security structures. As more evidence is presented, the Commission continues to examine whether state institutions were manipulated for political or personal interests.
