Big Veld Fire at Gansbaai in South Africa

Hello, everyone. Welcome to SA Today. On 28 February 2025, we will begin today's video with a large veld fire in Gansbaai, South Africa. It was reported that the fire at Gansbaai had damaged two houses, a water tanker, and parts of the town's electrical infrastructure, and was still not under control by last night. Firefighting by the working on fire group was still busy this morning as they worked to get the fire under control. Rain along the N4 just before Witbank and a quick rain shower at Upington.
