Atta-Akyea Blasts EOCO Investigation in GH¢49.1M NSB Case Cross-Examination

During proceedings at the High Court in Accra, defence counsel Samuel Atta-Akyea strongly challenged the EOCO investigator, questioning the independence and depth of the investigation. Atta-Akyea suggested that investigators failed to pursue key lines of inquiry, including the refusal to interview senior National Security officials such as the former National Security Coordinator and the Minister for National Security. He argued that this undermined the credibility of the probe. The EOCO investigator rejected the claims, insisting that the investigation was based on verified documentary and banking evidence showing suspicious transfers and misuse of state funds.
