This year, 2026, I have a plan to head to Shikoku and Hokkaido in Japan. The 2026 BMW R1300GS Adventure (6MT, Triple Black) on Motoblog. However, I decided to take the plunge and return to the GS Adventure, Motorrad's best-selling "strike zone" model, after a three-year hiatus. However, since I liked the 1250 boxer engine, I initially found a nearly new R1250GSA. But, since the price range of new bikes was similar, I considered further options. I decided to simply "go with the flow" here. When I was negotiating at the end of last year, the only color option left for the 2025 model was green, but the shop managed to secure the latest 2026 model for me, so I decided to go with the same Triple Black color as my previous GSA. I reused the GIVI top case. The genuine silver panniers were in stock and were installed from the time of delivery. The silver aluminum panniers stand out beautifully against the black body in a two-tone effect. Seeing the actual bike, I was convinced this color combination was just as good as I'd predicted.
