Dorćol - HD Documentary

A short documentary depicting an age old story of the famed Belgrade neighborhood, Dorćol. A part of capital where the streets breathe the history that once tread the cobblestone. A part where every tree, corner and building has a story to tell, where today Belgrade youth sits in street filled cafes and restaurants, contributing to the capital's growing hustle and bustle, as if unaware of the miraculous events and lives whose beginnings where in these very sidewalks, once dirt roads and intersections. Even as Belgrade progressed through its' turbulent past, Dorćol, through its' inhabitants, architecture and array of cultural events, kept its' multinational character and openness to all willing to peak into the streets of Jevrejska, Kralja Petra, Dubrovačka, Gospodar Jovanova, Dositejeva and others. This documentary serves as not only a teller of tales, but as an idea to remind some and introduce others to all that Dorćol once was and what it is set out to be today.
