Dvořák: My Homeland (Neumann)

Neumann: Czech Philharmonic Date: 1982 Location: Supraphon Studio at House of the Artists, Prague Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904) My Homeland (1882) While looking for out-of-print LP candidates, I thought "What about Vaclav Neumann's Dvořák "Othello" and "In Nature's Realm" which hardly ever get heard"? So I checked and found that Supraphon had released Neumann's complete Dvořák symphonies with three of the four overtures but not "My Home" on CD and promptly bought it. The sound on the CDs are very close to the original LPs. Although there are many excellent recordings of "My Home", I think Neumann's version should not be forgotten.
