Saudi Arabia has launched its biggest oil price cut in at least 26 years, slashing the cost of its flagship Arab Light crude for Asian buyers. The move comes as global oil supplies recover after tensions in West Asia eased and OPEC+ continues to increase production. With more crude flooding the market, producers are now competing aggressively for customers, especially in Asia. India, which imports over 85% of its crude oil, could emerge as one of the biggest beneficiaries if lower prices persist. Cheaper oil can reduce the country's import bill, improve refinery margins, ease transportation costs and help soften inflation.
