I'm in #Pedernales amidst the construction, and what I'm seeing is one of the most ambitious tourism projects in all of #LatinAmerica. In this video, I'll tell you everything that's happening in this corner of southern #DominicanRepublic: the Pro-Pedernales Trust with an investment of $2.245 billion, the nine planned hotels, the first three already under construction (Iberostar, Secret Hyatt, and Dreams Hyatt), the Cabo Rojo International Airport currently being built, the cruise port that has already received more than 130,000 visitors in 2025—and the detail that impressed me the most: Bahía de las Águilas won't have a single hotel.
