Aida Shahghasemi - The Wind is to Blame Diaspora Arts Connection proudly presented Aida Shahghasemi at "Let Her Sing: A Celebration of Female Vocalists" on September 15, 2018 at Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco. The show brought ten female vocalists and an international band together in support of women’s voices in music, threatened, censored, and suppressed in some parts of the world. Featured artists were: Mahdieh & Nasibeh Abdollahi (Avayeh Music), Rana Farhan, Aisan Hoss (dance), Jasmine Kara, Kitka Women's Vocal Ensemble, Samira Kharoubi, Ketevan Mindorashvili, Chloe Pourmorady, Aida Shahghasemi, Mahsa Vahdat, and Dina Zarif.
