MONTE SERRAT EM SANTOS - CONHEÇA A IGREJA E O ANTIGO CASINO

Mount Serrat is an important part of Santos' history, as it served as a refuge for the population when the then-village was invaded by pirates. In one of these attacks, in 1614, the invaders ended up buried, and the miracle, attributed to Our Lady, made her the patron saint of the city in 1955. It's four minutes of pure emotion, taking the cable car up the 147 meters of Mount Serrat's slope to the top, where the old casino and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Mount Serrat, patron saint of Santos, built over 400 years ago, are located. To complete the experience, there's a staircase with 402 steps and 14 niches reproducing scenes from the Stations of the Cross, inaugurated between 1939 and 1941, and a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city - it's also possible to see parts of the municipalities of São Vicente, Cubatão, and Guarujá. I'M GOING AHEAD, ARE YOU COMING WITH ME?
